OCC Research Process

OCC Research Process
Jake Morris
  1. Decide on a topic
    1. Look at both sides of the argument on the internet from all kinds of websites
    2. Choose the side that has the most information to back it up and you agree with the most
  2. Research that specific side
    1. Look at databases, websites, and all other sources and keep track of all of them and good statistics and facts you might use
    2. Stay organized throughout this entire process
  3. Create an outline
    1. Write down introduction, big reason 1, small reason 1 and 2, and repeat for 3 big reasons, and follow with a conclusion
    2. Keep this very organized also
  4. Create a rough draft essay
  5. Edit the rough draft essay
    1. Do this multiple times with different people to get many perspectives
  6. Finalize the argumentative essay and turn in
(Great site to use when looking at both sides of an argument)

(Great idea to use a plagiarism checker before turning into teacher to avoid cheating)
